Orbit pumps create a unique type of current that circles the aquarium with water movement - like the water moving in the ocean. Orbit creates a cross current that simulates tidal currents on ocean reefs. This is an excellent mechanism for lifting excess nutrients from the bottom of the aquarium and removing them through filtration.

Combined with the directional and random flow patterns of our Nero pump range, a true replica of ocean currents can be achieved - powerful, directional, systematic and random.

Orbit can operate in both forward and reverse modes.

  • Extend custom flow patterns and programs with reverse operation.
  • Use the reverse function to create a turbulent flow that helps remove debris.

 

Multiple pumps can be operated in opposite directions to increase vortex or circular flow.
